    Description

This is a very nice collectable decoy from the Winnebago Lakes area of Wisconsin.  This decoy comes from the Randolph and Fox Lake area.  The decoy was collected in the 1960's and has been in a single collection from that date.  The decoy has the characteristic  dowel going down through the decoy head and into the body.  There is a weight inserted in the bottom of the decoy.  The decoy has been attributed to Otto Krueger but it may have simply come from his rig of decoys.  OK is carved on the bottom of the bird.  A good collectible Wisconsin decoy.
