Hello my name is Lisa, Casey's wife and I do all the paperwork and listing, while Casey does all the carving and painting. No one is representing or selling for us, so this piece comes directly from Casey's hands to yours.
    Just to clarify:
Some people cannot understand how one man can hand carve so many carvings on such a continual basis and have assumed that Casey must use duplicating or reproduction machines such as CNC routers, etc. We do not own or use these kinds of machines, and Casey's carvings are so complicated, that these machines cannot be programmed to do what Casey does on a daily basis. We can assure you from a moral and legal stand point that Casey does not use any of these replicating machines in any way and as we describe in every single piece that we bring you, the carving is made by hand, not machine. Casey makes every single particle of sawdust by hand with hand tools such as a chainsaw, a bandsaw, a small hand held dremel tool for detail, and finishes his carvings with sharp draw knives, rasps, his favorite pocket knife and sandpaper. People who have known Casey and have been in his shop for the past forty years, and who have witnessed his God given talents (and there have been hundreds of people) can attest to the fact that Casey uses the simplest of tools. One person asked: How is it humanly possible? Here are the top ten reasons why it is humanly possible for Casey:
    1. Casey is not human....he's part animal....he's 64 and NO ONE can keep up with him...he does not sleep, trust me when I say he's an enigma.....a mystery.
    2. His mind sees something that most of us cannot see in our minds, and his hands can make it...anything....this is God's gift....mind/hand/eye coordination....just Google "Casey Edwards Gymnast" the same gift where his mind saw it, and his body would do it.
    3. Casey has a photographic memory.....he sees it, he takes a piece of wood, removes the excess wood BY HAND and ends up with what his mind saw. He remembers everything about every species of wildlife.
    4. He has been doing this for forty years! This experience plus sixty years of secrets handed down from his Mother and Father (they also worked with wood) helps makes him very prolific and efficient.
    5. Prolific.....as he is cutting out a piece, he has several pieces gluing together, some wood pieces drying out in my oven, some pieces drying with the sealer coat, always 5-6 pieces lying on the floor in stages of development, and because he trained both of his hands to be equally coordinated, he is continually picking up, holding, setting down each tool with both hands at the same time in such a rythm that you would only believe it if you saw it. Again, it's not human.....it's a supernatural gift.
    6. Efficient......his shop is organized, everything is sharp, pitch free, clean, big windows with all natural light, flat work tables, practical tools and work stations.....and loud surround sound music from the 60's and 70's contributing to his positive attitude.
    7. His grip and arms are like steel.
    8. Casey's imagination is second to none....not just the obvious at creating new one of a kind masterpieces, but how to be more disciplined, how to apply short cuts, when and when not to carve, how to apply different paints, stains, varnishes, and how to "antique " pieces, as examples.
    9. Casey has extreme motivation. He wants to bring the happiness and love you have for folkart and wildlife into your homes. He loves his family. He wants to leave his family a legacy.....he wants to leave them a debt-free existence.....and these are the reasons he works eighteen hour days.
    10. Most importantly, Casey believes in God, and God gives Casey's hands, the talent to HAND CARVE!!!!
