Duck Decoy, Pintail Drake, Head on a display Stand

Pintail Drake duck head, mounted on wood base, supported by a dowel into the base, manufactured by Wildfowler factory, Old Saybrook Connecticut, Superior Quality, deep nostril carving and bill recess, reference to the Wildfowlers Decoy book, page No. 63: this head appears to be made out of left over walnut wood possibly from some gun stock material, glass eyes are un-cracked, mounted on a wood base suitable for display in any collection. The base is 3” inches wide, 2” inches thick and stands 3” inches tall, the head is 5” inches long, 1 3/4” inches wide, and stands 3 3/4” inches tall, over all the head and base stands 7.5” inches tall.
