Barnegat Bay NJ scaup duck decoy ca. 1930
A hollow hand carved cedar scaup duck decoy from the Barnegat Bay area of New Jersey circa1930. Measures 14 inches from the tip of the bill to the tail, painted eyes, round applied ballast weight leather anchor tie, old age crack in the neck under the paint, groove behind the head for the wing separation called an "ice dip". Guaranteed to be as described/pictured.
NOTE; most of the shine on the decoys is from the camera lights
