    Description

    This redhead duck decoy measures approximately 14 1/4" from tip of tail to tip of bill, 7" at widest point, and 7 3/4" high at head.  I am not sure who the carver is or its origin.
    Decoy is very solid even though head slightly turns.  Head sits on raised shelf.  Decoy has glass eyes, and nice bill and tail carving.  If you look closely, there is also some feather painting. I believe paint is all original but cannot guarantee.  Head is very dark red, bill is blue, and body is gray and black.
    Bottom has letters stamped in the wood which appear to be HB.  Working keel has been removed.
