Antique Partridge Bird Decoy CARL MALMSTROM Oil Paint & Real Feet Signed Quail

Very interesting antique partridge decoy. Signed by highly regarded decoy artist Carl Malmstrom. Hand carved with a hand painted base in oil paints. The artist used real bird legs/feet on the decoy. Both legs are slightly broken. Possibly just from age. With the small cracks in the legs it doesn’t stand perfectly anymore. Luckily the way it sits on the painted base makes it appear to still be standing. The condition is otherwise very good. The bottom is covered in felt. This piece just came out of an old lifetime collection. Malmstrom lived from 1882-1975. I’d guess this decoy is from 1900-1940 or so. It stands around 8.5” tall. Ships ASAP! Thanks
