Antique Green Wing Teal Duck Decoy. Original Paint.
I recently purchased a large lot of Antique hand carved miniature decoys with several by Peter Peltz & James Ahearn, with others. With the lot were 3 large decoys with this being the first. I don’t know a thing about them; especially if unsigned. I know this is a Green Wing Teal and that’s all. The gentleman I got this collection from here in Florida lived on the coast of New Jersey and collected them. This decoy I’m sure is original paint. It is very solid and heavy for its size. There is one eye missing. I have taken many pictures for you. Please look at them carefully as they are a better description for you then my writing here. Best of luck.
