    Description

    Antique wooden duck decoy, possibly a bluebill or scaup. Handcarved wood, folk art hand painted with a single glass eye remaining; that eye is pin set and cracked. Paint over back is combed or squiggle painted. Normal wear to paint and wood throughout from use. Lead weight attached to bottom still and an old string attached to another ring or iron weight. Decoy measures 14" long in total x 5" wide x 6" tall at the head. See photos, all sides shown.
